I played elsewhere this week and it brought it home to me how lucky we are at present with how well the course is presented.
It is certainly the norm now that our members come back from other courses and immediately praise ours.
Also on the course the ghost trees are back which are quite something to see. This webbing protects the moth larvae that lives beneath it until maturity.
Captain Pro Challenge
It was also the Captain Pro Challenge this Sunday and there was a good turn out and the greens putted exceptionally well.
This was highlighted by the winning score of 49 points. Well done to Kevin and Hoosch who must have holed numerous putts for that number. It was also nice to see some ladies playing and hopefully the numbers will increase in the future as it is a competition open to all.
I think big thank you should go to Marc and his team for their continued attention to detail.
Fathers Day
With fathers day this weekend why not treat him to a lesson or two so he comes home happy from golf at the weekends.
Vouchers can be purchased in the shop should you feel it's a good idea.
I hope you enjoyed the newsletter and have a great week.
