Course care 

As the weather has prevented a lot of activity at the club this week I think it is worth bearing in mind how we all should look after the course. 

As it is wetter than usual this time of the year I urge you all to take to look for pitch marks and if you cannot find yours do two others as they are there. This will help lower the risk of Fusariam as pitch marks are areas it likes to start growing in. 

Again as the ground is soft divots are more prominent than usual so be mindful of replacing these and others if you are near them and see them. This also applies on the tees particularly the par threes where seed and soil is provided to fill divots made. 

The course is now in great condition and we can all do our bit to help Marc and his staff. Hopefully the weather will improve for the weekend, as it is a busy one for men's competitions particularly the Scratch Cup there are also two other events for the different categories of handicaps.
