- Woods 917 10.5 D3 driver & 15 degree 917f 3 wood with ½ inch shorter shaft both with Diamanna Red stiff shafts standard setting but with a fade bias weight.
- Hybrids 816H2 19 degree & 23 Degree both with stiff Diamanna Blue stiff shafts both ½ inch shorter and set on a flatter lie angle.
- Irons 4/5 irons Titleist 716 CB & 6-Pw Titleist 716 MB all with Project X Pxi 6.0 shafts and 1 degree flat in the lie.
- Vokey wedges 54.10s grind & 58.12K grind in black both with standard shafts and lies.
- Putter 33 inch Scotty Cameron Newport 2.
The woods have just gone in the bag and are great.
I have moved up in loft as they low spinning heads and the Diamanna Red shaft helps launch the ball more easily. The fade bias weight helps me take the left side of the course out of play (but not always).
The hybrids in the H2 head help me keep the flight under control and not balloon the shots, which is a big help in the wind. The flatter lie angle helps the sole of the club meet the ground more squarely for me so allowing straighter shots.
The irons are slight cavities in the 4/5 for a little bit of forgiveness and 6-Pw are blades for greater feel and control.
The putter is a standard Scotty Cameron but as not I am the tallest person the 33inch length allows me to make better positions when at address, so the stroke performs as best it can.
If you would like me to take a look at your current equipment and identify what might be a positive change to make please get in touch here.
I hope you enjoyed the newsletter and have a great week.
